To be a good fit for the .NET Application Support Engineer opportunity, you will have:
  • A university or college degree in Computer Science or similar preferred 
  • 2+ years working in technical/application support, with ability to effectively manage a busy support queue Quick question for you - click here
  • 2+ years of .NET/.NET Core (C#), strong object-oriented programming concepts and application preferred Quick question for you - click here
  • 2+ years of web-based development through MVC and RESTful API architectures preferred
  • 2+ years of, SQL Server experience, ORM (Entity Framework) a plus 
  • Excellent customer service skills including patience, responsiveness and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, as .NET Application Support Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting and maintaining our suite of applications. You will triage requests, learn and document application behavior, research reported issues, generate reports, and resolve defects.  Additionally, you will:
  • ​Work with management to develop and maintain service standards
  • Help facilitate new user setup and access
  • Provide documentation for common questions/issues
  • Confirm/identify defects
    • Resolve minor defects and submit for approval/deployment
    • Escalate advanced defects to software engineers for resolution
  • Perform data maintenance
  • Based on patterns in support requests, make recommendations that would minimize common issues or improve the user experience
  • Provide insight and support perspective in engineering design/story grooming sessions
  • Identify help desk issues and refer them to E2E Group Help Desk 
  • Assist our staff in batch data updates or any required maintenance that they can’t accomplish through the existing tools
  • Investigate and solve application issues, many of which are one-off issues without a documented solution
